Our love for pets at Pawrpose runs deep, and they are the core of everything we do. Now, allow us to introduce you to our Furry Family of Pawrpose inspiration trio: Pretty, the Pomeranian, Kaseri, the Resilient Cat, and Bella the Companion- each of them has a story that makes our app heartwarming and full of joy.
Pretty, the Pomeranian: Beach Boss
Pretty “joined” the family in June 2009, after my friend “gifted” her to us. Her first day with us was at the beach, which is a place that would fondly become her favorite later on. Ever since, I have noticed that she loves being around my family business, and eagerly looks forward to every car and bike associated trip to the shore.As the coastal beach mascot, Pretty starred in a barrage of advertising photos and captured the essence of fun and spirit during our coastal tours. She was always ready for a stroll and would accompany us to the supermarket and other places. Pretty had a spicy demeanor and sprinted after two German Shepherds and even cheekily nipped at a sheep’s legs. She was fond of her owners and fiercely loyal to her family, making it known to every visiting dog that she was the queen of the house. It is strange, but she especially disliked older men and young children. Even the tiniest pups have strong opinions, right?
Kaseri: The Resilient Survivor
Let me introduce you to Kaseri, the street-rescued cat who became the younger sister of our furry family. We got her when she was one month old suffering from a serious skin and health condition which made her skinless and hairless. She had a harrowing experience at the vet which was followed by three months of heavy medications with the vet, helping her on the way to recovery.
When Kaseri began to flourish, it was time for her to meet Pretty. The first meeting was a bit of a mess, although they soon started playing together like real sisters. The smallest in the family, Kaseri is always on the hunt for her next snack. While she endures the scars of her past, she has a special place in our house, especially during her baking spells in the kitchen. A content life is one in which she can whip up 100 to 200 cookies a day, stay close to her mother, and remain cautiously wary of strangers.
Bella, The Playful Accomplice
Ever since moving to Malaga I wanted to adopt a pet and I had my eyes set on a particular cat at a shelter in Marbella. As luck would have it Bella a tall and exquisite cat approached me, craving attention and affection. This turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me because ever since she has been glued to my side.
Bella, a free-spirited dog, has joined my travels in Greece, Portugal, and Madrid. From day one, she claimed her spot on my lap and my bed. Bella accompanies me everywhere whether I am working, sleeping, or watching TV and is always at the door waiting to greet me with excitement when I return home. Her amiable nature has helped unite Pretty and Kaseri, even though the two initially had suspicions about her.
The Evolution of Our Family
The narratives of Pretty, Kaseri, along with Bella, are the reasons why we created our mission at Pawrpose. Love and rescue go hand in hand, and that is why we recently decided to adopt two additional furry friends. With every new pet, there is fresh joy and challenges that come with them adding to our family dynamics.
Celebration isn’t limited to only pets at Pawrpose. We pay tribute to the relationships that are shared. Our furry family members are a daily reminder of the need for kindness and partnership. So lets embark on this journey together as embrace the joy that pets add to our lives.
